2016 Google Admob App Challenge, Apply Now

Are you're a student with a great idea for a mobile app, here's your chance to build your app that the world will notice, learn how to make money from it, and win awesome prizes. Welcome to the 2016 AdMob StudentApp Challenge.

What's at stake:
The Grand Prize winner will score a week-long trip to San Francisco, including a visit to Google's headquarters in Mountain View. We'll feature your app on the Google Play Store and produce a video starring you and your app. You'll also take home a nifty bag of goodies, including a Google device.

Four regional finalists will take home Google devices and have their app featured on the AdMob website. Formore information on the prizes, please see the official rules.

How to Compete:
STEP 1
Register your team.
Form a team of between one and five people, and pick a team leader. (Looking for other students to join your team? Try CollabFinder.)
STEP 2
Build your app.
First, make sure you review the judging criteria and AdMob's policies. Then come up with a great idea and build an app you'll be proud of. Make sure you sign up for a new AdMob account so you can install the Google Mobile Ads SDK, which enables your app to show ads from AdMob — and lets you start earning money. STEP 3
Promote your app.
Now it's time to promote your app, so people can see it, use it, and love it. Start by submitting your app to the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. Need help promoting your app? Check out our resources.
STEP 4
Send us your app and business report
After your app is approved, use this form to send us your mobile app and AdMob ID, and this form to submit your business report. Here's an example report and template you can use to write your report. Just make sure you submit everything no later than June 28, 2016. On August 25, 2016, we'll announce one global winner.
