Application is now opened for the 2016 Edition of the C.M.C CREATIVE ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION for Youths in Nigeria.

This Competition is aimed at engaging the YOUTHS to provide Positive Ideas on how to make AFRICA a better place of living for all.

It is also geared towards getting young people to begin to participate in Social Change, Democracy and good Governance. This Competition is mapped out as part of Change Makers Club Int'l Yearly Anniversary Celebration usually held on 17th July of every Year.

ELIGIBILITY.

3. Have good mentality towards the development of Africa.

ESSAY TOPIC:
"IMPLEMENTING THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS IN RURAL COMMUNITIES IN AFRICA. CHALLENGES, PROSPECTS AND REALITIES (USING YOUR COUNTRY AS A CASE STUDY)"

CONDITIONS FOR
ACCEPTANCE:
 a.  All entries must not be more than 2000 words, typed on an A4 Paper Size with 14 font size and 1.5 Line Spacing in MS Word document (.doc) or in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf).
b. All submissions must be the author's original work and should not have been previously published anywhere.
c. The Essay must contain the Participant's Full Names, Date of Birth, Country/State of Residence, Phone Number, E-mail and Few sentences about Him/herself (not more than 50 words).
d. CMC Int'l will publish the winning and runners up submissions and may modify and format content for publication purposes.
e.  WINNERS Must be present in the 2016 CMC YOUTH REVOLUTIONAL SUMMIT to be held in December, 2016 (except for Participants outside Nigeria)

NOTE: The best 5 entries will be selected accordingly based on the quality of ideas and information by our Panel of Judges in and outside Nigeria.

Apply for Ebonyi State YouWIN Programme to Get Fund: In the determination of the ministry of economic empowerment and job creation to function as a catalyst for the realization of the vision of His Excellency, the Executive governor of Ebonyi state, Engr. Chief David Nweze Umahi to graduate Ebonyi state from an economically backward state to one of the most economically developed states in Nigeria by the year 2019, the Ministry of Economic empowerment and job creation was created.

Ebonyi YOUWIN is an initiative of the ministry, aimed at identifying Ebonyians with viable business opportunities that can create jobs, training them and empowering them with grants to start off the business venture. The program is aimed at turning Ebonyi State from a Civil-service powered State, to an industrialized state with thriving businesses. This is in line with the vision of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of the Ebonyi State, who has gone ahead to build the necessary infrastructure that will enable businesses to blossom in the State.

The programme is aimed at: Creating 325 direct jobs and an estimated 1,500 indirect jobs in Ebonyi State. Among are
* Improving the employment opportunities for women and youths in Ebonyi state.
* Alleviating poverty in the rural areas of the state.
* Assisting the participants develop the acquired skills for self sustenance.
* Educating participants to appreciate the importance of payment of taxes to the government for increased internally generated revenues (IGR).

The ministry believes that when people are empowered, they can then be in a better position to contribute to the economic development of the state through payment of taxes and other statutory levies to the Government. Assisting Ebonyi Youths engage in meaningful economic ventures that are necessary to discourage them from engaging in anti-social activities. It is a known fact that social crimes are on the increase among the youths due to idleness, poverty and hunger. The Ebonyi YouWin programme is expected to bring the desired solution to the prevailing youth unemployment and its consequences.

Methodology and Approach.
The program is divided into four stages which every participant must pass through. These include:

The first Stage
This stage will be ON-LINE DATA REGISTRATION OF THE WOULD BE AWARDEES of the scheme. The applicants would go to the program website to apply for participation in the program.
It will be open for state indigenes of the thirteen local Government areas who wish to participate.
The Second Stage.
This stage will be COMPREHENSIVE BUSINESS PLAN SUBMISSION after which the marketing of the business plan starts, successful winners in the application will be invited for intensive business plan interview to bring out the best finalist and winners in the competition.

The Third Stage.
The best finalist and award winners in the interview will be invited for a 2-day intensive business development training and after which an MOU will be assigned between the Ebonyi state Government and the Awardees for proper implementation of the scheme. The awardees will win a grant depending on their business needs.

The Final Stage.
The disbursed funds will be in three batches to the successful beneficiaries. The Ministry in partnership with SMEDAN will effectively monitor them and mentor them to ensure that the fund given to them is judiciously used for the set purpose. There is need for proper monitoring at this stage to avoid mismanagement of the fund and overall let down of the goal of the government in embarking on this scheme.

Eligibility and Coverage.
The participants will be an indigene and citizen of Ebonyi state. The participant aged between 18-45 years. Have a secondary education and above. Have a proposed business idea that will operate in Ebonyi state and employ Ebonyi indigenes. The business categories covered in this program include:
* Rice Cultivation
* Processing and sales of Palm oil production
* Processing Cassava
* Processing Fishery and agriculture
* Livestock farming/feed mill Vegetation
* Yam production
* ICT Leather work

Use the scratch card to register on the website. Submit your business plan. If you are selected or rejected for any stage, you will be notified through Email and SMS.

2016 Google Admob App Challenge, Apply Now

Are you're a student with a great idea for a mobile app, here's your chance to build your app that the world will notice, learn how to make money from it, and win awesome prizes. Welcome to the 2016 AdMob StudentApp Challenge.

What's at stake:
The Grand Prize winner will score a week-long trip to San Francisco, including a visit to Google's headquarters in Mountain View. We'll feature your app on the Google Play Store and produce a video starring you and your app. You'll also take home a nifty bag of goodies, including a Google device.

2016 Skusat Scholarship Program, Win #300k.

Qualified undergraduates and freshers seeking cash grants are invited to apply for this edition of the Skusat academic reward program tagged '2016 Skusat CBT Contest'.

This scholarship program is open till April 8, 2016. Successful applicants will be rewarded in the forthcoming intuitive online test; with a sum of N300,000 cash and also; sub-grants of N50,000, N20,000 andN10,000 to other category of applicants who attain specific grades as outlined in the registration guideline.

ELIGIBILITY:
* Applicants must not be below age 16.
* Every applicant must be a citizen of Nigeria. * Applicants must possess the original copy of the document(s) selected during registration before grants can be duly awarded, this will be required for a viable clarification from successful applicants only.

Registration is open to students in Universities (100Level, 200Level & 300Level), Polytechnics and Colleges of education. 400Level students and above, are not eligible to apply.

Freshers and aspirants without MATRIC NUMBER may proceed to enrol with their JAMB REG NUMBER provided he/she has obtained a score not less than 180 in JAMB. This is subject to verification.

INSTRUCTION:
An 8-digit AUTHENTICATION ID will be sent to all registered applicants within 24hrs of submitting the application online. Ensure you cross-check your details thoroughly before submitting; as the screening procedure will be strict. ONLY ELIGIBLE applicants will be required to obtain a Passcode/PIN for the Live Test with N1,000 payment to the bank only after their details and matric number/UTME number must have been verified from the relevant authority where necessary.

The Live Test portal containing 50 questions will allow not more than a single attempt for a maximum period of 1 hour 30 minutes.

To qualify for the N300,000 cash grant, applicant must attain at least 80% cumulative score while the sub-grants of N50,000, N20,000 and N10,000 will be duly disbursed to applicants that obtain scores within the range of (70 – 79)% , (65 – 69)% and (62 – 64)% respectively.

David Oyedepo 2016 Foundation Scholarship, Apply Now.

David Oyedepo Foundation is offering full tuition scholarship for African students to study at the Covenant University and Landmark University. This Scholarship is available for pursuing an undergraduate program.

The David Oyedepo Foundation is a non-profit organization that seeks to improve the standards of living for humanity especially Africa. The foundation seek to raise platforms of aid that would bring relief and succor to the troubled parts of Africa; individuals committed to revolutionizing the continent through indigenous and innovative solutions to the continent's greatest issues and contribute in no small way to the rebuilding of systems and policies that would contribute to the continent's growth and advancement.

The David Oyedepo Foundation scholarship program is the major platform for promoting university's vision and goals. The scholarship program awards grants to qualified individuals who are indigenous and residents of African countries and have been offered admission to specific universities in Nigeria.

English language proficiency is required for participation in the scholarship program. All activities and communication would be done in English without the opportunity for translation.

Course Level: Scholarship is available for pursuing undergraduate program at the Covenant University and Landmark University.

Study Subject: Scholarship is awarded to candidates can to study their choice course.

Scholarship Award: The scholarship covers: Full Academic fees for a maximum of 5 years. (In accordance to the university stipulated time for duration of chosen course).

Note that the scholarship does not cover;
* Travel allowances
* Feeding allowances
* Medical/Health Insurance or allowance
* Any other fees outside university generated Academic fees for a course at any level.

Eligibility(Nigeria).
The David Oyedepo Foundation Scholarship program is open to Young Africans who meet the following criteria:
* Are citizens and permanent residents of any African Nation.
* Are between the ages of 18 and 25 at the time of application submission
* Are eligible to receive a Nigerian student visa * Are proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.
* Have a record of exceptional performance at the secondary school level which is benchmarked by:
* At least 20 points above JAMB cut off points (for Nigerians only)
* 80% recorded average or 4.0GPA/5.0 in Secondary/High School Transcript.
* Already have begun admission applications to Covenant or Landmark University

Please Note: The application for the scholarship does not guarantee admission to the specified universities; all admission to the university is to be secured independently by going through the university's admission process. Hence, award of the scholarship is conditional on university admission.

Applicants not meeting the above technical eligibility requirements will not be forwarded to the selection committee.

College Admission Requirement Entrance Requirements:
In order to be eligible applicants must have a record of exceptional performance at the secondary school level which is benchmarked by: At least 20 points above JAMB cut off points (for Nigerians only) and 80% recorded average or 4.0GPA/5.0 in Secondary/High School Transcript.

English language Requirements: English language proficiency is required for participation in the Scholarship program. All activities and communication would be done in English without the opportunity for translation. Please fill in the portion of the application evaluating your language skills as accurately as possible.

Supporting Material: In addition to the application for the scholarship, the applicant must submit the following documents:- Insert Primary School Name, Certificate obtained e.g. (primary school leaving certificate etc.), duration (mm/yy – mm/yy format), and the year of graduation. Indicate nil if you did not complete education at the school indicated. – Add New for multiple schools attended at primary/basic level – Insert Secondary/High School Name, Certificate obtained e.g. (junior/senior school leaving certificate, High school diploma etc.), Duration (mm/yy – mm/yy format), and the year of graduation. Indicate nil if you did not complete your education at the school indicated. o Add New for multiple schools attended at secondary level until graduation. -Insert Post-Secondary Institution Name (e.g. A'level, Technical college, University), Certificate obtained e.g. (A levels, BSc, Diploma etc.), Duration (mm/yy – mm/yy format), and the year of graduation. Indicate nil if you did not complete your education at the school indicated. -Insert proposed university of study and proposed course of study. Remember that the David Oyedepo Foundation Scholarship Program is specific at this time to only Covenant and Landmark University. It is also course specific; hence you would have the option of only choosing from the available options. -For the exam results section, the name of the Nationally Recognized O'level exams should be inserted including the date the exam was taken. (This exam varies for different countries). -All subjects taken should be captures in the exam results section along with corresponding grades o Combination of two different certificate exams is not permitted -JAMB result is specific to only Nigerian Applicants.
